I provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy that recognizes neurological differences as natural variations in the human experience rather than deficits to be fixed.

Individual Therapy

Through a collaborative and strengths-based approach, I help children, adolescents, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and identity-related concerns. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and supported in becoming your authentic self.

Couples and Family Therapy

Relationships thrive when both partners feel heard, understood, and valued. Couples therapy provides a supportive space to strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and work through challenges together. Whether you're navigating conflict, life transitions, differences in communication styles, neurodivergence within the relationship, rebuilding trust, or simply seeking a stronger connection, therapy can help you develop greater understanding, healthier patterns, and a more fulfilling partnership. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and focused on helping couples build on their existing strengths while creating meaningful and lasting change.

For neurodivergent couples, relationship challenges are often misunderstood or viewed through a neurotypical lens. Differences in communication styles, sensory needs, emotional expression, executive functioning, social expectations, or ways of showing care can sometimes lead to frustration, misinterpretation, or feelings of disconnection. Rather than viewing these differences as deficits, I work from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective that recognizes and respects each partner's unique strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world.

Families are complex systems, and when one person is struggling, the effects are often felt throughout the entire family. Family therapy provides a supportive space for family members to improve communication, strengthen relationships, navigate conflict, and better understand one another's experiences. Together, we can explore patterns that may be contributing to stress while building healthier ways of connecting, problem-solving, and supporting one another. Family therapy may be helpful for concerns related to parenting, life transitions, neurodivergence, behavioral challenges, conflict, communication difficulties, and overall family functioning.

For families with neurodivergent members, therapy can also provide education, support, and practical strategies that honor differences rather than viewing them as deficits. Whether your family is navigating conflict, parenting concerns, life transitions, emotional challenges, or questions related to autism, ADHD, or other forms of neurodivergence, therapy can help create greater understanding, connection, and resilience.

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. Participants can gain insight, develop coping skills, practice new ways of relating to others, and discover that they are not alone in their experiences. Groups may focus on topics such as anxiety, self-esteem, neurodivergence, social skills, identity development, stress management, or other areas of personal growth. Through shared experiences and mutual support, group therapy can foster connection, understanding, and meaningful change.

If you have an interest in group therapy, but do not see your topic of interest included above, please do not hesitate to reach out! I am always looking to expand my groups.

Education Workshops and Seminars

Combining my experiences as a psychology professor, counselor, and PhD candidate, I offer educational workshops that make psychological concepts accessible, engaging, and practical. Topics can be customized for families, individuals, couples, schools, businesses, healthcare organizations, and community groups, with a focus on promoting understanding, inclusion, resilience, and well-being. I also provide workshops concerning neurodivergence, coping strategies, communication approaches, emotional regulation, etc. Anything related to neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism) education, I provide!
