Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, I do not accept insurance directly and operate as a private-pay practice. However, I provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt for therapy services that includes the information your insurance company may require for reimbursement. While reimbursement cannot be guaranteed, many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services.

How much does therapy cost?

Current fees are:

  • Individual Therapy: $155 per 50-minute session

  • Couples Therapy: $175 per 50-minute session

  • Family Therapy: $175 per 50-minute session

  • Educational Workshops & Presentations: Starting at $250

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions about fees or payment options!

Do you work with Autistic adults and children?

Yes. I have specialized training and experience working with Autistic children, adolescents, and adults. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual's unique needs, experiences, and goals. I strive to create a supportive space where neurodivergent clients feel understood, respected, and empowered.

Do you work with LGBTQIA+ clients?

Absolutely. I provide affirming and inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ individuals exploring identity, relationships, life transitions, mental health concerns, and personal growth. My goal is to offer a safe, welcoming environment where you can show up authentically and without judgment.

How long are sessions?

Most therapy sessions are approximately 50 minutes in length. Session frequency varies depending on your needs, goals, and preferences and may be discussed collaboratively during treatment.
Educational workshops/seminars range from 1 hour - 2.5 hours.

Is telehealth effective?

Research has consistently shown that telehealth can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns! Telehealth offers the convenience of attending therapy from a location that is comfortable and accessible to you while still receiving high-quality, professional care.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes! I offer a free 30-minute consultation to answer questions, discuss your goals, and help determine whether we may be a good fit to work together. There is no obligation to schedule services after the consultation.
